About
Oceanview Casa is a single three-bedroom penthouse apartment on the northeast coast of Puerto Rico, rented directly to guests by the family that owns it. It is not a management company, an agency, or a portfolio — it is one home, hosted one booking at a time.
The apartment sits on the top floor of Vereda del Mar, a small gated residential complex in Río Grande, roughly forty minutes east of San Juan. The building is mostly owner-occupied and quiet by design; the beach is directly in front, El Yunque National Forest is a short drive inland, and the Luquillo kiosks are ten minutes east.
How we host
We host in the off-season only. Every year the calendar is deliberately closed from roughly July through September for hurricane season, and the bookable window opens each October about a year ahead. That is intentional, not an error — we would rather not place a guest in a stay we cannot confidently deliver.
Check-in is keyless: your door code is issued for your reservation and arrives the day before arrival, and the gate has your name and plate on file. There is no key handoff, no lockbox, and no one waiting in the driveway.
Booking direct
Reservations on this site are processed through Guesty, an established reservation and payment platform for independent hosts. Booking here rather than through a listing marketplace removes the guest service fee those platforms add, which is typically the difference between a direct rate and the same dates booked elsewhere. Payment is handled by Guesty's payment processor — we never see or store card numbers.
The same apartment is also listed on Airbnb, and the calendars are synchronized, so availability shown here is real.

Three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, sleeps six. King, queen, and a full plus twin bunk.
Sixteen-foot ceilings, private terrace, ocean aspect, washer and dryer in unit.
